Happy #aapiheritagemonth Never shy away from celebrating your identity, culture, heritage and most importantly, the miracle that is YOU. Always have the courage to challenge the status quo. Always question who does and doesn't get to show up as themselves. Authentically. Unapologetically. It can someday influence culture, and if you are lucky like me, it can start the conversation and inspire the two exhibitions at an important Museum like @metmuseum @metcostumeinstitute “ What is the Met Gala 2022 theme? The theme for part two is In America: An Anthology of Fashion and the exhibition will see Andrew Bolton, head curator of the Museum of Modern Art’s Costume Institute, focus on inclusivity in fashion. “Who gets to be American?” was a question posed at Prabal Gurung’s spring/summer 2020 show, and it will be addressed at the Met Gala 2022, as well “ It's humbling, and I am hopeful. Quoting the inimitable Sam Cooke “It's been a long A long time coming But I know a change gonna come Oh, yes, it will” With love & gratitude wholeheartedly. Immensely. xPG
